Description: This recipe is super easy and full of veggies ! perfect for a winter day !
you can use the left over for a broth or blitz everything for a creamy soup !
- 2/3 lamb shank
- 1 onion
- garlic powder
- 1 Star Anis
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Harissa paste
- 1 tin tomato
- 1 tsp of ground coriander
- green beans, chickpeas, butternut squash
in a big iron cast pot, melt some butter, add the shank and brown them.
Add the onion, and the spices, when it’s smell nice add the tin tomato, stir and add some water until the shank are covered, i like to add my garlic powder when it’s cover with water because sometimes it burns !
Bring to a boil, and after simmer for 2.5 hours.
Through the veggies, i usually add what i find in the freezer and cook for 20 minutes.
I like to sserved it with some couscous and chopped fresh coriander, a squeeze of lime !
